Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the steel services industry.

  • Relevant degree in sales (preferred) or equivalent

  • Planning and coordination skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Applications would be advantageous (Sharepoint, Planner, Teams etc)

Responsibilities

  • Meet agreed-upon sales targets set out by management

  • Maintain good customer relationships

  • Follow up on customer quotes

  • Provide unparalleled client support throughout the sales lifecycle, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any concerns with prompt and effective solutions

  • Conduct cold calls to potential customers

  • Schedule appointments with customers

  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships

  • Present, promote and sell products to existing and prospective customers

We are searching for a skilled SigmaNEST Draughtsman with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to join our drawing office. In this role, the selected candidate will take on draughtsman and estimator duties.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years experience using SigmaNEST is a MUST
  • Minimum 3 years experience in sheet metal design
  • Relevant draughting degree (preferred) or equivalent
  • Proven and demonstratable SigmaNEST software experience
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (3D & Flat pattern)
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and engineering concepts and terminology
  • Computer literate (Office 365, Planner, Sharepoint, Excel, Outlook etc)
  • Excellent communication & listening skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving
  • Self-motivated and able to work to required targets and respond to the needs of the business
  • Able to work alone as well as part of a team
  • Able to prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Able to work accurately under pressure
  • Laser cutting experience would be advantageous
  • Autodesk (CAD, Revit, Inventor) would be advantageous

Responsibilities

  • Preparing quotations for customer RFQs
  • Designing and Managing Bills of Material/Quantity
  • Ensure that drawings/DXFs convey the correct information and are free of errors
  • Check and verify the DXF and confirm details are accurate
  • Purchasing and stock controlling
  • Designing and presenting of all required drawings and schematics
  • Revise drawings to accommodate changes and improvements
  • Maintain effective communication with production team, sales team and management to ensure client requirements are met
